What exactly happens after ordering?

When you receive the fish, they could still be swimming in the sea in the same morning!

Please contact our customer services team if you have any issue to order and you need to change your order before the cut-off date.

What if I am not around at the time of delivery?

When you place your order, you can make detail special instructions as to where we leave it. Due to traffic and some other reasons, we are unable to accommodate requests for time specific deliveries to ensure fairness to all our customers and maintain efficiency in our operations. Drivers might not make it exactly on the time you’ve mentioned (eg: 2.15pm).

As part of our service we will call you before heading to your doorstep, if we are unable to reach you, due to whatever reasons, or you do not pick up the call, we will leave it on the front door or at the guard house (for apartment and condominium) or we will reschedule.

If the recipient is requested to returned to The Fish Club or reschedule or relocate, when rider arrived, notice will send to a customer that The Fish Club's driver has tried to deliver. The sender is responsible for bearing any delivery cost for a second delivery attempt. Thank you very much for your understanding!

Are your fish fresh or frozen ?

Our fish are 'fresh' in the sense that, the sea-to-door time is usually below 48 hours. By default we freeze the fish for you, right after it hits the shore and cleaned - this ensures that the freshness is locked in, and the seafood are not left unfrozen and degrading through the journey to your doorstep.

How are your wild fish different from those from other regions?

Our boats are generally smaller, hence each fishing trip is usually below 36 hours - compared to the 14 days in areas like Sekinchan / Kuala Selangor / Mersing / Gelang Patah / Pulau Ketam. The result is that the seafood are extremely fresh. When you receive your seafood, the fish could still possibly be swimming in the sea in the morning!

Why should I buy from The Fish Club Pontian when I can just get from my local markets in my hometown?

Pontian fish tend to the be freshest compared to others parts of Malaysia, mainly because our fishing boats make shorter trips - usually within 36 hours, compared to places like Kuala Selangor & Sekinchan where the trips are around 2 weeks to 1 month. We highly encourage you to try the difference. No harm trying =) and we promise 100% Money Back Guarantee!
